This was better than expected and entry was free which is very unusual. Lot's to look atand loads of info on the history of the items on display and life in the local area. The tea room was lovely and all the staff were friendly.

My wife and I visited this museum as an afterthought after leaving our hotel. How glad we were that we did visit it. It is a good look back into time and I found the military section very moving indeed. 10 out of 10.

There was plenty to see and the displays were good. The free admission was a bonus as well! There was a cafe and the staff were friendly and enthusiastic. There was also a play area for younger children and onsite parking.

This museum is normally free to enter although on the day of my visit there was a special 1940s day where people were able to offer more information. I would happily pay £2.50 to visit any day because there is so much to see. Definitely...More
