Full of interest and nostalgia, and friendly, helpful staff. Also, it's free, and so is parking. It is a little difficult to find, and there are no refreshments.

A super little museum based in an old part of the original gasworks in Leicester. It has the best collection in Britain and taking a tour is a must. Lots to see upstairs and down. Brings back a lot of memories of grandma's kitchen! Well...More

having visited the gas museum on aylestone road Leicester, we where transported back into time. a very rewarding insight into the world of all things gas. do go and you will be pleasantly surprised.
