Attended nice little Easter activity for kids. Lovely old building in the shadow of the cathedral. Friendly staff, good value for money, could have done with a small pop up cafe for hot drinks whilst children crafted. Interesting history, esp the jail, good for threatening naughty kids!

This is a lovely building with plenty to see and do for younger visitors. The staff were friendly and helpful. While we were there we went for a 20 minute 'concert', a one man show telling a story of Liecester in song, well worth it.

This is a quaint little find in the city centre, there are a few rooms showing the historical artefacts dug up in and around the area, well signposted explaining what they are, where they were found and what they would traditionally have been used for etc. Downstairs are the old cells used to house prisoners, they are the best bit,... I visited the Leicester Guildhall with a friend in April 2017. It is free entry so we figured, why not have a look around. It's not very big but that's fine. You wander through various exhibits, and out into a nice little courtyard (where there is a ping pong table which we enjoyed a couple of games of). The museum... More

A very interesting building offered as a small and informative museum. A good adjunct to the neighbouring cathedral which together can fill half a day and leave you close to the City Centre for food, shopping and the theatre.
