My first time here and I really enjoyed it. All the staff were very helpful and in particular the gentlemen on the bar upstairs was very welcoming, friendly and gave a personal service. The building itself is fantastic and to be honest I don't think there is a bad seat in the house to watch a show. Great place will... More

Watching Mathew Bourne's Early Adventures. Three short dance pieces from 1989/1991 celebrating 30 years of Adventures in Motion Pictures and New Adventures. Fun, quirky, well choreographed, camp. What an evening. Who could forget Brief Encounter danced in 3 minutes, the poor dying hedgehog, dance on push scooters, the pissoir, clog Dances and the cancan or infernal gallop. Gentle, but definitely... More

Not to be missed when in Blackpool, the theatre is steeped in entertainment history, and has a great atmosphere and decor. I,ve visited the theatre at least four times now, each time have enjoyed every act that was performing. Joe Brown was the most memorable as he never seems to age, is very witty and a fantastic musician and performer.... More

This is a wonderful example of Victorian theatre architecture and is now a Grade II listed building. Restoration was completed in 2007 after fifteen years of work and shows of all styles including gala performances, musicals and variety shows are put on here. Because of the beautiful work done which is bright, colourful and intricate you feel transported back in... More

We go to the panto every year. I go with school & with the family. It is always fun to watch. Sometime there are better stars than others, but it is always fun especially for the kids.

Just been to watch John Richardson, we had gallery seats. £23 each for a bench, my partner had a metal pole in the middle of his seat. The most uncomfortable seating I've ever encountered, disgraceful. People were arguing mid show because they were so uncomfortable and nudging each other....won't ever go there again!

Had a nice evening here watching Barry Steele's Roy Orbison story. It was clean and bar prices were reasonable. Only niggle is toilets, just not enough for the size of the place.

Took my granddaughter to see Ben and Holly show. Very good show-she loved it. Lovely theatre-only downside the seats. Sat on front row of circle-not much legroom for adults though it was excellent view of stage.
