When going over the Honister Pass it is certainly well worth stopping here for an hour or so to visit the mine. There is an interesting gift shop, with mainly slate products for sale. The cafe serves snacks and drinks and is a welcome break...More

Very nice and interesting tour underground in the.man made caves. Donald the.tour leader was a local boy with intense knowledge and passion about the mining and Lakeside heritage. Very much liked his tour and stories. Interesting and impressive to see where the slades come from.

My girlfriends mum and dad took us to the skate mine for the day to take part in the extreme climbing experience. We all had an excellent time, all I'd say is defiantly take a small rucksack with food and water for when you reach...More

We got a voucher for this for Christmas and eventually got round to doing it today with my 13 year old. It was really good fun the classic doesn't go over the infinity bridges which was a shame but it also doesn't include the cargo...More
