Great value via ferrata route inside the old slate workings. Ideal for a wet day, but well worth the money whatever the weather. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.

A handy place to stop at the summit of an impressive mountain pass. Car parking, cafe refreshments, a souvenir shop, mine visits and other tourist attracts. Access to the high fells, good starting point for a walk to Great Gable. Worth stopping.

Stopped here for a snack whilst exploring the lake district. An interesting place with a very welcome cafe. As an attraction it may not be to everybody's taste, but I found it to be worth my visit.
I did the Via Ferrata Classic and although it was quite exhilarating during the actual climb around the short set route, the actual fun climbing part lasted less than half an hour (and it was only this long because someone froze in the group and...More
My husband and I completed the Via Ferrata Extreme and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our instructor, Shaun, was brilliant! We felt completely safe through his guidance and instruction, but he also made it relaxed and fun, and took some great photos. A challenging but exciting way...More
