This bewitching Museum had a large natural history taxidermy collection, including a stuffed polar bear and a model of a dodo. It was a very attractive way to past some time.

a good local museum probably a little over size for the size of Kendal (which is good more to see) there parts about wainwright geology and natural history especially if its a wet day in the lake district enjoy

Visited this museum and was really impressed on how many different exhibits there were. Fascinating. My personal favourite was animal exhibition, which was well thought about. Made the exhibition really interesting. For £2 entrance fee you cannot go wrong!

This is a good museum, pass an hour or so. Lots of world animals, birds and moths exhibits, a history of Kendal and a few hands on activities. Helpful staff, worth the £2 per person entrance fee. Suitable for all ages.
