Lovely church next to the daffodil gardens when we visited the steeple was getting renovated and the music was blaring out from the radio which kind of spoilt the experience.Nevertheless the church was beautiful and had real character.

The church is undergoing renovation and repairs, so the exterior is not looking its best, but the interior is architecturally interesting. There are plenty of brochures explaining its history and customs, and there are postcards and books for sale.

At the moment there is a massive amount of renovation ongoing with seemingly the whole of the church covered by scaffolding and sheets of visqueen as work continues. Dreadful day weatherwise so we couldn't hang around too long but then again it wasn't as inviting...More

Loved our visit to this church. You can also view the tombstones of the Wordsworth family here including Williams. Very peaceful and special.
