Magical place to get married!

Stunning location next to the river Derwent. Beautiful and peaceful inside for pray and contemplation, friendly church, also makes an excellent venue for a country wedding.

Small Norman church in lovely situation above River Derwent. Large car park. Closed for dehumidification after flooding November 2015 when I visited in March but normally open daily during British Summer Tiime, weekends in winter. Look out for the sundial *inside* the porch.

Badly damaged by the flood but now back to its best. Fabulous location by the derwent, near to isel hall and bridge with parking spots and lovely river walk. Plenty of parking at the church and benches in the graveyard - well established yews.

Swallows are nesting in the porch and it was a unique experience to hear them echo-locating me (and then moving away "swiftly" -... More

Another locked church - such a shame! Lovely location, ancient building, nice outside but no idea about the inside. Who knows it may be locked as the Holy Grail is inside??!!
