Refurbishment work has been completed following damage caused by flooding in 2015. Although it is adjacent to the busy A66 it has a very peaceful tranquil feel

Found this little gem by accident and so glad we made the short drive to visit. Lots of wildlife, birds seen included Nuthatch, Great Tit, Reed Bunting, Greenfinch, etc. Would love to live closer as I'm sure I would visit every day. Thoroughly recommend!

Love this walk so easy peaceful.Plenty of bird feeders and lots of different birds.We have took the grand children many times.Easy flat walk on even boards, quirky huts just to sit and rest.

We were advised to visit by the local hotel and had a wonderfull walk round. lots of birds and wildlife. will definatly return on another visit

Silver Meadows is not far from our home so we visit frequently at all different times of the year and it is always a delight to see. It's just a short walk on level walk boards so it is well suited to people with pushchairs...More
