usede to be a beautiful place, a recent bimble around and its turned into a hive for undesirables and drunks , its the kind of place you wouldnt want your kids to go there own to be fair i wouldnt take my dog there

Visited bank holiday Monday. Gardens seemed unkempt, litter laying around. Rats visibly running around on the "Island", Numerous groups of Europeans drinking and smoking something that smelled "odd". Numerous others with premium lager on park benches, my late teen sons felt intimidated. Not for us...More

I have been going to this park for 50 years.I now take my grandchildren to see the things i did.The playground is really good for younger and older children.Pennas cafe is still open and is the cheapest icecream around.Fab park.
