Fort Paull will survive but we must not allow the world's last remaining Beverley to fall victim to this neglect.

Fort Paull is the only fully intact Napoleonic Fortress in the North. Covering 10 acres of land this Museum is full of Underground tunnels and rooms, fantastic exhibits and on most weekends throughout the Summer, fantastic displays and events. The Fort is also the home of the worlds only surviving Blackburn Beverley Aircraft. There is also a fully licenced bar and tea rooms on site.

I found the owner and volunteers committed, hard working and operating on a challenging budget. They have performed miracles with what they have, and considering all the negative comments, please bear in mind without these chaps saving many of the exhibits from the scrap man....More

Walking around this place is almost surreal. It's like you have travelled back to the 1950's when historic attractions had a much less sophisticated approach to presentation to what we expect today. For the military enthusiast, on paper at least, it has it all: a...More

I used to visit For Paull all the time as a child and loved it but a recent visit with my god-children was less than impressive. The entire museum is in serious need of renovation and in many areas is beyond dilapidated. Many of the...More

Very disappointed in this attraction. The content is very interesting, and the blurb tells you they won tourist attraction 2004. I think this is the last time the place had money spent on it. No cleaning has been done in an age, and lots of...More

Though appearing run down, this is due to age rather than neglect, there will come a time though when it will have to have serious work done, hopefully when it is they will think of an area where DVD's can be watched by disabled visitors,...More

What a pity that in the approx 4 years since our last visit the fort has become even more run-down. Some of the exhibits are very dark, damp, smelly and cobwebby. In fact I found some of the mannequins quite disturbing to look at and...More

Not worth the entrance fee for a family. Some very weird displays, some actually quite disturbing, and the whole place is run down and a bit dangerous for young kids. Really needs some time and money spending on it if they want to attract more...More

I'm not entirely sure because when I went there was no dogs there, I probably wouldn't just for the loud noises and things, in case your dog gets scared. :-)
