Visited whilst walking around the Humber street market. The building is a small exhibition of dinosaur artefacts over two floors. There is plenty to read for adults and the displays will keep children excited. On the 1st floor there are hands on activities for children which is great. It's isn't amazing but my 2 year old son loves it and... More

was suprised how small the venue was but still enjoyed looking at the exibits. There is a place upstairs ideal and taylored for children .I took my grandson and he spent ages playing up there. There is a shop were you can purchase a variety of gifts and reasonable prices.

I took my two grandchildren to Dinostar, they are 4 and 2 and both love dinosaurs. This place is ideal for them as it is very hands on with buttons to press which they really enjoyed. Older children were also enjoying it too. It is reasonably priced and I would recommend it to others.

Inexpensive, great way to entertain a kid for an hr or so. Dont go expecting to see the likes of the the National History Museum, it's cheap & cheerful, a bit rough around the edges, but perfect for dinosaur loving kids between 3 & 6. I wouldn't go if you have a buggy or wheelchair as you'd struggle getting up... More

Thank you for your review. Although part of our exhibition is on the first floor of our building, visitors are welcome to leave pushchairs in an area behind the main reception desk. Those who cannot use the stairs are admitted free to our ground floor galleries. More

Came here on the way to the deep was well worth the money. Very reasonable and lots for them to do (ages 4 and 6)

We arrived on a damp and freezing Sunday morning.... we had am AMAZING time. This is a museum perfectly designed for little boys, we spent a wonderful 90 minutes looking good at this special collection of different dinosaur bits and pieces. This wasn't expensive and was a brilliant place to spend a morning with my son. The shop isn't expensive... More

Visited today with our young son. Very disappointing. We could not class it as a museum, you can walk round in ten minutes. Venue quite run down with no heating on,it was that cold you could see your breath. Myself and my husband felt it was a complete waste of money. Our three year old son seemed ok with it but... More

I am disappointed to hear you didn’t enjoy your visit to Dinostar. The comparison with the excellent Hull council museums, like the Maritime Museum, is somewhat unfair since they are publicly-funded; Dinostar is 100% privately-operated. Having said that, our admission prices are not excessive and souvenirs in our gift shop are very reasonably priced. In conclusion I am not sure... More

My son loves the Dinostar museum and wants to visit whenever we are in Hull. The opening times are only a Sunday between a certain time so available to check their website before you go. Entry to the small museum is of low cost and the staff are friendly. There is a small gift shop too. There are plenty of... More

Visited on the recommendation of the owners wife and was not disappointed. Granted it is a bit on the small side but ideal for kids who love dinosaurs and love to touch related objects. Not a visit suited to a full day out but if you include it with a visit to the deep well worth a look

Kids really enjoy it here, been a few times cheap to get. Kids get to touch everything so that's great. Not an exhibit for adults. But great for young children who like dinosaurs.
