The external publicity belies the facts. Heaving with people milling around with no sense of direction. Internal viewing route could be better planned. Not a patch on Plymouth Aquarium. Essential to avoid visiting at weekends or during school holidays.

I've been here a few times with my daughters. This is a fab afternoon out. There's loads to see and do and little areas to explore. They have penguins which is fantastic! You can get up close to the marine life and explore the history of the ocean, it's very educational. There's a cafe which offers a variety of meals... More

So we decided on visiting the city of Culture as we usually do whenever they are close enough to get to. This time it was Hull. On arrival you'll see lots of building works and investments in progress into the town. Might be worth checking back when the towns upgrades are finished, but a good standard that has been there... However when we last went in January this tank was closed for upgrading. I was very disappointed as my daughter had come up from Kent with my 2year old grandson and that was supposed to be... More
