This is a nice area to stroll around and only a few minutes walk from the centre of Hull. We noticed that there are several more eateries opened up in the Marina area from when we last visited a few years ago. Well worth the effort to visit and see the old Spurn lightship. Some parking is available but if... More

Best kept secret of Hull. It's location and now the heavy investment paying dividends, its a must visit. Plenty of Bars, Cafes and top restaurants you will not be disappointed.

Knowing only a little about Hull's history I did not expect to find the marina to be as attractive as it is. There is still work going on but but that did not detract from a pleasant place for a weekend stroll. We loved what they have done with the renovations of many old buildings. really a nice surprise!

So great to see an area which was run down on Humber Street so successfully renovated. It has great eateries such as the tapas bar, Ambiente, the most fabulous tapas bar. Good prices, special 3 Tapas for £10.95 from 10am to 5pm. Divine food, good portion size, plenty of vegetarian options, great fish & seafood. The lovely staff who are... More

We came up to Hull to visit my Nana and decided to stay in a hotel at Hull Marina. We were so impressed by the Marina and how it had been redeveloped. The walkways were excellent with our buggy and there were some thoughtful pieces of sculpture depicting Hull's long history. We will certainly come here again.

I like to wander around near the marina and imagine that one of the boats is mine and where we would go if we had half a chance. Money has been spent in recent times making this a pleasant area to potter around.

Lots of bars cafes and the marina. Exciting place, far different to when it was just a marina and fruit market

Look around the marina in the sunshine and you feel like you're on holiday! The boats and the surrounding restaurants give it a very cosmopolitan feel. It is a very interesting and cultural part of the city and most definitely one to visit.

A place full of sea faring memories, past lives fill the air. Memories of lost ones humble you with the gifts and flowers tied to the jetty remind us of fathers, brothers and sons who never came home from sea. A vibrant place with bars and cafes and only a short walk from the centre. A cultural experience worth every... More
