The Spa is no longer available as a local property developer has apparently drilled into the water source and destroyed it and caused bad flooding. This is appalling as it means that Royal Tunbridge Wells is no longer a Spa town as it has been...More

This is a spa town and you have to try the waters. I love drinking it although my mum thinks it taste like rusty nails. Well, it is iron water with lots of other minerals. Good for your health. Cheers!

Of historical interest but now quite easy to miss and somewhat underwhelming. I'm not sure really what might be done as, after all, it is just a spring, but it surely deserves to be something more than just an adjunct to a shopping spree in...More

The Chalybeate spring used to be the main reason visitors came to RTW, however, now you could easily visit and miss it. Sadly, whilst it is of historic interest, it is not well maintained and is a poor reflection of the lovely town. On a...More

I am from Tunbridge Wells and this has to be one of its most underwhelming 'attractions', not least - as other reviewers have noted - because it is the very reason the town exists. It hardly ever seems open either so if you want to...More

Taking visitors to this is a real embarrassment. Given it's the reason Tunbridge Wells exists. Showing visitors a concrete basin covered in a very grubby glass dome with a placard above is such a non event. The council should be ashamed of themselves.
