Staying in Ramsgate walked along the beach to Broadstairs, what an exilerating interesting walk. Met people, children and dogs of all ages enjoying this . Loved it lots of facilities along the way can't wait to return. Suggest good comfortable shoes, but no dangerous parts.

We have enjoyed bathing and walking along this lovely beach - golden sands and skies that go on forever. Family friendly and plenty of space to spread out.

This is a lovely beach but there were lots of dogs being exercised, even though this is prohibited at this time of year. Who is enforcing local bye laws? Dog mess is a real health hazard, especially for children.

When the tide goes out there is more than enough space for everyone here. Plenty of sand and a gentle slope to the sea. Great for families for games and sunbathing.

dirty beach, filthy water , no easily accessible toilets, no cafe, broken glass near the beach steps, parking free and dogs allowed

A very pleasant golden sandy beach with superb views across to Pegwell Bay and the English Channel. Bonuses are the beautiful chalk cliffs with their wild flowers especially in the spring and the chine leading up to the Westcliff promenade.

After visiting Margate went to Ramsgate, another disappointment. A big improvement on Margate but sadly another resort that has fallen on hard times. A 'Royal' port it was of interest but enough to make me want to linger, so moved on to Broadstairs, what awaited...More
