Large spacious park

This is one of my favorite parks and I've had many memories in this place. It's excellent for children in the summer and I think everyone has had a childhood in this place.

Having lived across the road when I was a child, I spent pretty much all of my childhood in this park. Now, as a reluctant adult, I still love to come here. It's kept pretty clean and tidy, and there's lots of space to wander. The new nature enclosure is a welcome addition and the kids play area is decent,... More

I live near here so I'm biased, but it really is a fab park. It's a lovely big green space, in close proximity to the train station. (5 minutes walk) There is a bandstand, a nature reserve (fenced off to protect it, but accessible to all). Wood carvings pop up randomly! (great for trying to spot with the kids). Lots... More

the wildlife garden and layout is more like the park has been taken over, and not kept to the standard of the past, it looks fairly messy now

I would love a quid for every time I played in this park as a child. Never ever got bored and think next time in Ramsgate I may have to visit again just for the memories x

Last visited for the may fayre, it was good fun and I even had a ride on the train, it is great that there is a nature garden now and it is starting to get more natural and overgrown, although you can still walk through the areas that are supposed to be accesible with ease

As locals, we regularly use this park and the work the Friends of Ellington Park have done is extraordinary! The grounds are well kept with native wildlife scurrying around. The nature garden is a big asset and my children love the new pond. On Sundays the little train is there run by some local enthusiasts and there are regular events... More

I have lived near this Park for many years now and since "the friends of Ellington Park" have taken over its become wonderful. It used to be dull and the kids play area was constantly set on fire :( but now there's cameras and precautions it seems to be working :) Great Park to enjoy now!
