Lovely walk

Stunning views in the sun and very pretty at night, especially around Christmas when all the boats are decorated with lights

For the non-sailor it offers plenty to commend it; beautiful location and many fine eateries. But for the sailor - beware! Stand pipes for water are available but I wouldn't fill my tank from them (fine for washing down). Both red and white diesel are available from the fuel berth and, let's face it, if you're sailing then you're not... More

Popped into the Harbour offices to ask what the inscription on the building meant and a very lovely lady gave me a photocopy "here's one I made earlier!" with an interesting article about the building. A lovely harbour to wander around and make sure you pop into the little church at the end St Peter's.

on a sunny day, a stroll looking at all the different boats, drinks and food in the little archway cafes and bars a good way to spend the day

We have just visited this marina. The staff are incredibly friendly and can't do enough to help it's clients, from the office on the harbour, to harbour master and the gentleman who did our fuel. Special thanks to Alfie who came out to take our ropes on an exceedingly wet evening. We will visit here again.

Lovely marina - wish there could have been a few more shops on the quayside. All the bars and restaurants on quayside level are set into beautiful brick faced arches. On the road above are super restaurants, especially Italian, French and Thai.

A great place to walk round the large harbour watching the boats of all shape and size. Plenty of open air cafes and bars to sit in and catch the sun A working harbour that has s lot to see. Even an American gun boat and old steamer were in harbour when we were there.
