Lots more in here than you think.

We thought we would take a look and were suprised to find three floors of things to see. It was very interesting to see models of how Dover has changed over the years.

There is a sign that says the entrance to the Museum is down the side so we joined a queue down the side only to find out that it was a cinema! The entrance is at the front but behind the railings. There is also a sign that says you need tickets so we queued at the desk but although... More

Six bottles of wine for £25 offer. Warnock Station basic stuff. Factor in extra time to check in though - Border Force now doing strange checks in a closed shed? Crossing smooth and quick as usual. Well worth.

Last minute trip to the museum. In the city centre by castle. Free entry for exhibition over 3 floors. We also met Mr Polar bear!

Can flit through if you want and just see the things that interest you or can spend a good 1-2 hours and read many of the interesting facts about Dover, its' history etc. The development of the harbour and ferry service. Upstairs is the Bronze Age boat that's fascinating and remarkable. Well worth a trip.

Very nice free museum, interesting artefacts and exhibits, with a good history of Dover. Also what must be considered the main exhibit, the 3,500 year old boat from the bronze age.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon during half term and we were the only people in there. Apart from the girls behind the desk when we came in there was no other staff throughout the museum. There's enough to see and do to keep you entertained through a bad weather situation but it's not a must do. Although I would say... More

My husband and I enjoyed walking through the museum. It was free for admission and when we were finished with the tour we offered them a donation and they were so shocked as if they never receive them which I find hard to believe knowing how awesome the museum was. It was very interesting and the very top floor with... More

Have been wanting to see the Bronze Age boat for a while now and today we had the opportunity to do so. What pleased us most was turning up to find out the museum was free! This topped off a wonderful visit. Although a very small museum, some lovely interactive displays to keep children (and adults!!) engaged. We thoroughly enjoyed... More
