We took our two teenage boys for a day at Chatham historic dockyard, we had booked on line and also paid the extra for the 40s live exhibition that was on that weekend. The dockyard was well signposted to get there and plenty of parking...More

I agree with Kevin D's review that this year's Salute was a disappointment. It was advertised as "bigger and better", but in our opinion it was smaller than the many previous Salutes we have attended. Many of the attractions we have previously enjoyed were missing...More

We visited for the Salute to the 40’s weekend, with the dockyard being transformed into that era. Lots to see and learn about here across a large site.

Our second visit this month and what a day to remember. Superb event with such a fantastic atmosphere. We will certainly remember this. If you get a chance then go or better still buy the very affordable annual ticket.

We attended the 40s weekend at Chatham docks. There was so much to see in this experience from singing and dancing on the 3 stage shows. Walking through a submarine, walking on board a destroyer, Climbing aboard a spitfire or just walking around the different...More
