Thomas Harley, 18c Lord Mayor of London and first owner of Berrington Hall who commissioned Capability Brown to landscape the parkland. Beautiful views and easy walking routes. Inside the mansion, a real treat awaits anyone interested in textile conservation. A replica Court Mantua is on...More

We visited on a Wed and had a lovely walk round the kitchen garden which - as others have remarked - was marred by a large pink installation. We took up the offer of an introductory talk. Though clearly very well intentioned, it was far...More

Really lovely hall and gardens. Particularly liked the kitchen gardens and orchard. The hall was very interesting with advice on hand from knowledgeable staff in each room.

The grounds of Berrington are beautiful. Rolling hills, birds singing, trees whispering, etc. The house itself, although nothing particularly spectacular, is still a lovely thing to explore.
