I used to live near the Common and would walk through frequently. Now live out of town and make a point of visiting as often as I can. Can still find peaceful spots. The café is very good too.

An area with a large new children's play area, walkways and pond. Popular with joggers, dog walkers etc. The new play area was very busy.

It’s a great place for walking but I would not take the dog again, to many city dogs. The common has many activities and has a great play park area for kids. Easily accessible and plenty of parking.

Always recommend Southampton Common - lovely for a walk. There's a couple of duck ponds and always see lots of runners and cyclists also.

Lovely surroundings with lots of space for everyone, walkers, joggers, cyclists etc. Children's play areas, lots of areas for ball games and picnics. Lovely ponds with swans and ducks and a finishing lake, something for everyone to enjoy.

Very big park, perfect to go running or for a walk, go with friends in sunny days or with kids or dogs. It also has an old cementery, nice to walk around

Beautiful park in the middle of a city. It was great for a quiet walk. Visited the old cemetery and saw some widelife.

Ok in the day. Wouldn't want to walk alone. Lots of incidents have occurred in the last few years. Nice open space. Don't go there at night. It's known as a dogging site. Or if you do go at night stay out the bushes. Ok...More
