Best way to do nothing for 6 hours and relax during a voyage from Southampton to Poole. Shieldhall is a floating history lesson too. Volunteers are all friendly and approachable.

Took a trip to Bournemouth Airshow this year on the Shieldhall. Absolutely amazing! No traffic, no parking, no stress, friendly crew and a great position, from sea to shore, to watch the airborne spectacle. Highly recommended!

Hello Nigel, there are a number of places where can stay which is near the ship. The nearest is the Holiday Inn which is about a 10 minute walk to the ship.
