Our local park which is good for playgrounds, feeding birds on the river and for teaching children to cycle on the safe cycling proficiency track. Fun little miniature railway in the summer months. Well maintained and clean.

We visited these beautiful parklands during our brief stay in Southampton recently and found them quite fantastic. Would have been worthy of a picnic stop if we ahd the time

Go here with the dog and grandchildren for a fun day out.ample parking so no hassle with the car. Kids love feeding the ducks and swans meeting and playing with other kids in the park. Also it's a great walk along the river.

It was a beautiful walk along the river. For children there are playgrounds. One can take some bird seed to feed the swans and the ducks. It's a beautiful stretch to cycle as well. You can carry a picnic basket .

Yes, of course. There's just one fenced area by the school where they aren't allowed and it's probably just common decency not to let them foul on the pitch & put, cricket and football pitches
