My husband and I decided to go into town, as time was getting on we decided to use the ferry. This was due to the terrible road works going on in the city, traffic jams caused by this and finding a car parking space.

We spent one full sunny day in lovelly Hythe. Instead of the car we enjoyed the nice and comfortable Hythe ferry service and the related old train pier. It was funny and kids loved it so much. Good to keep it working.
