It was interesting learning about the different specialized workers in the dockyard, but the displays were not very large compared to other sections of the dockyard.

The whole apprentice experience is well put together it really gives a great idea of how the dockyard used to be and how it worked.

We visited here as part of the all attraction package and we found it when we were heading for a cuppa but put that off to have quick look, but actually stayed longer. Fascinating to see all the craftsmanship, engineering and interesting displays.

Interesting exhibition about life working in the Dockyard during the war years. You could easily miss the exhibition thoughave as it is tucked in behind a shop and cafe.

One of the few places one does not think about if your father was an apprentice during the second world war this is the place for you of many an old photographs on display

Part of the Museum showing many an old trade from ship building plus sounds of the time and showing HMS Sirius ships bell and war record which was aboard HMS Sirius in the Wardroom Flat/officer cabin area.

If you are here to see all the attractions at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard it's worth stopping at Boathouse #4 to check the "International Boatbuilding Training College", where you take a sneak peek at their work while they build and restore boats.
