I visited on the last Friday of the Easter holidays we parked in the overflow car park as the main car park was full. The overflow car park is free where as you have to pay for the main car park it is pay and display. It is not far to walk from the overflow so I was pleased we... More

Visited today with my 5 year old grandson. Having read the reviews I expected more. The play areas were very small and lacked imagination. The animal experience was excellent. Would recommend taking a picnic as the on sight cafe was poorly organised. We waited over 30 minutes for baked jacket potatoes and this was after another 30 minute wait to... More

Yea it was OK...but i cant get excited about it. The animals are well cared for, clean and tidy enclousers...but they looked 'bored' they had nothing around them of intrest..apart from human contact & the animals looked fed up of that. The grounds are well maintained and good for picnicking! The play barn is ok but so many children unsupervised BY... More

It is hard to believe that this wide expanse of green space is in the middle of a sprawling housing estate, but once you have found it, whatever your interest, however many of you are in your 'party', there is something for all ages here. The animals are great for smaller children, whilst the lakes are great for fishing. I... More

We had a fabulous day visit to Staunton. My class loved the activities that were really well planned and kept them all happily involved. Even the shyest children were able to feed and stroke the animals. Don't miss the maze, the whole class had fun running around trying to find the centre and using the talking tubes! It is a... More

Came here with my girlfriend for something to do and really enjoyed it. We fed and petted the animals, had a wander and enjoyed the sun. There was plenty of kids around and it seemed like a really pro-child environment, so if you have your own family then we highly recommend coming here!

I regularly visit Staunton with my 2 year old, and my 13 year old. They love walking around the park, feeding the many animals, and playing on the newly refurbished outdoor play area (there is also an indoor play area, but that's usually quite packed). On site cafe for coffee and cake. Staff are friendly and welcoming. There's events during... More

Great place to take the kids, to roam and enjoy the open spaces, lots to see. Lovely lake to walk round, also lots of other walks through the woods, on a Summers day it would be lovely for a picnic.

Works really well to take a walk in the park - excellent for dogs and youngsters. Then back across the road to spend time in the farm - loved feeding the animals - some very greedy goats, sheep and Llama - nice gentle mouths though for little children. Membership is well worth buying if you are a local with dogs... More

We parked in the main car park and crossed the road into the park. We wandered around the park, there is an old stable block, wonderful trees and then around to where to the old house once stood before demolition. The house was up high overlooking the lake which had several waterfowl on it. The park is well cared for... More

Hello, We are sorry you didn't get to have a drink inside the farm, but our tea rooms are inside our payzone area and for customers of the farm. We do offer refreshments in our small shop outside the payzone however. Staunton Country Park More
