Lovely old church with golden cockerel on the tower, and 2 grotesques on the porch! Good free guides to explain the interior.

A tranquil church in tranquil surroundings of this charming little village. Whilst at times the doors are closed, it's well worth a visit to see the fabulous grotesques alone, all individual and in extremely good condition considering their age!

So sorry, just seen your question. Winchcombe is a very small village with a few pubs and cafes...see my review on Sudeley Castle which is worth a visit but do check the opening times!
