This is a small museum in the Cotswold town of Moreton in Marsh and it's packed with aviation exhibits from WWII and beyond. It's only a small place so it won't take you long to get around the place but it is well worthwhile. A nice exhibition.

The proprietor passed away; however his son Ed Tyack has kept the small museum in excellent order. His father Gerry was a good amateur racing driver and there is a corner dedicated to motorsport. The archive is fascinating and although open only on Sunday's it is well worth the trip.

My cousin and I visited this small but very personal and unique museum today. My cousin's father and my uncle was stationed at The Moreton-in-Marsh air base in1944 as a young nineteen old Autralian airman. He did his training in this area and we were were very privileged to spend over an hour at this museum which is dedicated to all... We spotted the sign for this as we travelled through Moreton on our way to staying in Stow on the Wold. However, even though this attraction merits having a brown tourist information sign, it is only open one day a week. Such a shame that it only opens on a Sunday (apparently). Good website though!

Can't comment about this museum because it was always closed when we went to see it!! The flag is flying outside, but there's nobody in!! Would have liked to have had a look as we are very much into aviation, but sadly, never got the chance. Perhaps when we are next on the area we'll try again.

I very much enjoyed visiting this museum to learn more about the RAF field that operated just outside of town turning WWII. This museum is the personal collection of one person and that personal nature comes across clearly as you walk around the single room. I walked around 3 times and each time I saw things I hadn't seen the... More

I can't review the museum as such as once again when I've arrived its been closed, despite the website and associated tourist information indicating that at 10.45am on a Saturday it should be open. This is a shame as reviews suggest that its well worth a visit.

Me and my daughter visited this museam recently after driving past it a dozen times and promising myself to visit. We were charged a modest £2.50 but to be honest that is about what it is worth. It prodominently reffers to the local Moreton-The-Marsh airfield which was expected ,however there was no real structure and everything was thrown in together in a...
