It is nice to catching up The Metropolitan Opera live from New York. I have been to this cinema to watch the Opera for a few years and I love them. It is good way to enjoy the opera on some Saturdays. It is Live HD. The sound effect is very good and watching the opera on the screen has... More

Website wasn't working properly so couldn't reserve tickets and had to go into the cinema early. Explained this to staff but it was like water off a ducks back - they didn't seem to care! Downstairs desks are all closed so you have to queue with everyone buying the extortionately overpriced drinks and snacks to get tickets. All felt like... More

Cheltenham's 'Cineworld', and its upmarket spin-off 'The Screening Room's, constitute the only available cinemas in Cheltenham. You won't get a buzz from meeting the staff, going into the murk of the building, the ambiance etc. You go because it is a convenient local place to see a film. Many Cheltenham people prefer to go to Gloucester or Stroud cinemas. Somehow... More

What a great idea. I discounted tickets and an early viewing. It was a wet morning and our toddler like being out and about so off we went. It's was easy to pick up our pre ordered tickets from the machine. The queue for snacks was long and stupidly sllloooowwww. A little frustrating with an excitable child. Seats were comfy... More

Wonderful place, helpful staff, clean place and toilets! Plenty of space. I'm disabled but didn't have a problem with the wide steps. I use a stick - not wheelchair! Went to see Split viewing at 310pm so not at all busy. Usually it's extremely busy even during the week so was impressed! Food and drink a rip off!

We had a film day and chose two to see on the same day AT Cineworld Cheltenham. The discount I got on the tickets was great but you'd need to take out a small mortgage for the food & drinks to take in. Good choice of films but my knees were in so much pain about half way through both... More

Typical Cineworld premise. Ticket office closed so choice of self help machines or queue at the Concession counters in a massive queue with people wanting popcorn etc. Customer service could be vastly improved. Cinema itself clean and reasonably comfortable. Will return as there is no other option

We usually head for Vue in Stroud, but decided to ring the change and check out the IMAX experience. On the plus side it's easy to find, easy to park and ideally located close to shops and chain eateries if you're looking to make a day of it. The staff were also all friendly, efficient and helpful. The cinema itself... More

Went to see La La Land. Great film tho' the sound was not good. There were people in our seats ( a long way into the row) so we had to take their seats a row further back than we had booked. There are no front of house staff within the screening area to help sort out issues like this.... More

Usually go to Gloucester docks but in Cheltenham today. It was easy to buy tickets in foyer. Seats in back row didn't have much legroom. Sound wasn't Dolby surround and wasn't loud enough.
