Although a little off the beaten bath, it is completely worth the drive. Pack a picnic, walk up the cliff and eat while enjoying the view then head down to the rocky beach, get your toes wet, and enjoy the chalk cliffs. We had a...More

We started of at the Birling Gap and walked up to Beachy Head and back - was an absolutely wonderful half day (in great weather) for our fam of 5 - kids aged 9,7 and 5. Relatively easy walk, great views, photo ops in every...More

Most people do not come here because it is too far. We saw 1 other couple. Park your car at South Hill Barn Car Park. (See photo) Go there 1 hour before sundown, beautiful!! Best view, others are nice as well, But too busy!

This is by far my absolute favourite walk I have done in the UK - the views, the experience, scenery. I walked from the country park to Eastbourne, which took me about 3 hours and I was so happy that I did it. I stopped...More

We visited here whilst on holiday and were really impressed. You pay to park but it's reasonable then take a good walk through the beautiful surroundings with a river and lagoons down to the pebble beach. The white cliffs just give the lovely bay an...More

The landscape at Seven Sisters is astonishing. Very beautiful natural scenery, combining the great chalk cliffs and the breezy wind from the sea. Not to be missed on a sunny day.

We walked from the Cuckmere Inn to Eastbourne, through the park. Walking along the coast was brilliant. It takes about 2 hours to get the National Trust cafe at Birling Gap, and other 2 hours or so Eastbourne. There is a free water tap at...More

A great place to walk and the views of the Seven Sisters are amazing. The best views are from the Seaford side but the parking area is difficult to find. Always ask one of the locals for directions

Great place to spend a sunny afternoon. After a mile or so from the visitor center, you approach a rocky beach with bright white chalk cliffs as far as the eye can see. Also some rock pools you will find some small sea-life. Although you...More

It depends on where you are coming from, as you want to see the Seven Sisters from both sides of the Cuckmere..Have a look at the pictures I posted and you can see the difference.

Hi Carrie, it's probably too long (and a bit challenging) and you don't have such beautiful views. You can start at Seaford parking and walk to Hope Gap and Seaford Head to reach Cuckmere Haven and Coastguard Cottages (there... More

Why don't you go to margate, Ramsgate area where you can walk along the beach and even climb in old smugglers caves in the chalk cliffs.
