We visited Brighton for the bank holiday weekend as you can imagine it was very busy. We came across this little arcade and played a few of the 20p machines and soon realised that you needed to exchange to old money to play the rest. By this point I was already taking photos of the vintage machines heading back towards... More

Fabulous old victorian penny arcade with you able to exchange into old money. Facinating treasure in the silicon valley seafront that Brighton has become. Small and bijou but certainly worth a visit. Near cafes and on the beach.

What a fantastic place. A great selection of historic penny machines - and yes! you can win prizes! It's not difficult to find - just walk down the last long ramp heading towards the Palace Pier from the West. The photos at the top of the page will help yu to find it easily - and to make sure you... More

Lovely piece of history ,worth popping in ! Being born late 60's I remember some of these machines ,and the nice low prices to play them! And not an LED anywhere ! Would like to see a bigger choice but expect these are hard to come by these days . Beats the piers amusements and you don't leave feeling ripped... More

This place sounds great but it's not worth the trip. Half of the machines were out of order, once you'd brought the old Victorian coins to work the machines, I found it rather misleading that there were lots of machines that you didn't need Victorian coins for, just 20 p coins and 50p coins and you never won any prizes... Having spent a fortune in the arcade further along the lower promenade trying to win my grand daughter a Frozen character (unsuccessfully) we stumbled into this lovely old penny arcade. It is only small, and it is a far cry from the buzz of the pier and the constant electronic noise of gaming machines. For just £2 you purchase 20... More

Classic old games, for 2£ you can have loads of fun. If you like classics and history you should definitely visit. Brighton is well known for is arcade games, and to see what they played with back in the day will give you a new appreciation of today's games!

I take my grandchildren to Brighton often and we always come here. Great little bit of history and the kids really enjoy it. Excellent value for money hence the rating score.
