The Lanes are perfect for a wander, coffee, lunch, evening meal and drinks. Amble around the shops with plenty of variety to cater for all tastes and ages. Small privately owned businesses offering unique and individual wares. There's a great atmosphere here, taking you back to a traditional shopping experience.

Everywhere you look there is something interesting and new to satisfy your senses, the color, smell, sounds, textures and overall experience of being in this Brighton landmark is something to marvel over since it was lucky enough not to have been effected by the second world war. Brighton settlers more then anything are very supportive of local artists and the... More

Had a wander through, backwards and looking round the quirky, independent shops. Plenty of shops to have a nosey at. Never seen so many jewellery shops within close proximity! Plenty of places to eat, drink, sit. Even my husband doesn't mind that kind of shopping trip,

If you like window shopping or you are looking for something interesting you can spend a few hours wandering around. Plenty of small and interesting shops. They cover all incomes and tastes. Best not to do on a wet day

I have visited The Lanes in Brighton many times and love window shopping throughout all the many jewellery shops. There are lots of lovely restaurants and cafes to be found the further you venture into the lanes and it is definitely worth a visit. One word of advice, if you have a pram or buggy you will struggle to navigate... More

Everyone who visits Brighton know about The Lanes which are so fascinating that each visit one finds some place previously undiscovered. Full of eateries, curio shops, clothes retailers but how do the numerous jewellery shops survive. Absolute fascination!

An eclectic mix of shops in a narrow passaged area. Too many jewellers for my liking but there were plenty of food, clothing and other types of outlets. A must for any visitor to Brighton, but guys, leave your check books behind!

Enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the lane although there are a lot of jewellery shops. The cafes and coffee shops help to make the day a pleasant place

We wandered through The Lanes on our way to the beach and on our way back to the railway station. The huge variety of independent shops, bars and restaurants is amazing. The area has a really nice vibe going and is well worth visiting.
