The views from the camera obscure are amazing but I;m pretty sure it is closed now, best check with the council. nice walk from there to devils Dyke or Saddlescoombe.

A bit difficult to find but worth it. We went with our children who loved it. Fascinating to see the camera obscura working.

I'm sure that this would be a lovely attraction if it were open. It's a bit of a schlep out of Brighton so to get there and find a piece of paper on the gate telling you it's shut all summer 2015 was somewhat annoying....More

Foredown Tower is actually in Portslade not Brighton, The Camera Obscura is open on Tuesday and Thursday, with wonderful views - a real must. There is a lovely cafe with garden on the ground floor, with very cheerful helpful happy staff. Also a good stop...More
