There's always something interesting going on and it gives a great flavour of local history. It's great for kids too. The cafe's worth a visit too.

Visited during the Arts Festival so may have been more going on because of this - a book signing, music in the restaurant, great art exhibitions and lots more.

Housed in the Dome, and full of interesting Furniture Art and objects Past times...FAB! And it has a fab tea-room on the Art Floor, selling Homemade Scones and Cake and Lunches

Lovely place, nice to wander around and lots of interesting features. It is a bit dull if you've been before though as there isn't tons here.

Very good museum. Particularly like the more modern items/chairs. Limited scope but what is there is good. Very good special exhibitions.
