The best April weekend for 49 years may have something to say but the beach is brilliant. Lots of bars to sit and relax during the day and comfortable to chill on the rocky beach

Would be nice if would be sand instead of rocks but still a nice place to spend time get a bit of sun and plenty places around to grab a bite or couple of drinks

Walked along this lovely colourful beach each day when in Brighton . Live music at a bar which I stopped and listened too. Lovely places to eat and drink . We had lunch here on our last day fresh crab rolls wow.

As someone who studies in Sussex, escaping to the beach is wonderful. Lovely day out for anyone and some fab places to eat too. You can also kayak which is fab. Delightful views too

Was lucky to get parking right by the promenade although it was £3.20 per hour. However, for longer trips, i would park at Churchill Square car park as better value. Great beach, atmosphere even on a term time sunny day and lots to do!

Some nice cafes, the usual beach side tat and make sure you take plenty of pennies for the Pier. Don't bother on the ghost train!

Any time has something different to recommend it! Walking west from the pier in the afternoon or evening into the setting sun can be lovely! Maybe avoid the middle of the day as very very busy then!
