A lovely little church to visit. Nice to sit in a pew and contemplate. All the tapestry kneelers had cross of St. Andrew on them.

This is a lovely, church, very large for the size of Alfriston, a sign of former wealth. With a minstrel's gallery, or for the gentry of the village, it makes a beautiful venue for classical concerts.

Beautiful place seeped in history. You can easily step back in time and imagine eras gone by. Great that the church is open and so well kept

This is a great church in a lovely setting. We had a blessing here 20 years ago and it was good to see that not a lot has changed. It's still as beautiful as ever. You must visit when in the village.

We attended this beautiful church of St Andrews for a wedding practice and then a wedding - simply sublime and great acoustic! Your quintessential English church - perfect for a wedding. Organist and choir superb.

I'm sorry that you feel that we do not care about our church. I can assure you we do and have been actively fund raising for sometime to resolve the serious damp problems caused through unwise restoration during the Victorian era. We have recently had...More

This looks to me like the perfect example of a small English parish church. It has a beautiful interior that has had a lot of love and attention paid to it's preservation. Lots of activity while we visited as prep under way for a wedding....More

Living in Eastbourne Alfriston and this pretty church are always on the list when we have visitors. Set on a pretty village green immaculately kept and the church in a traditional churchyard - quintessentially English. Inside the church there are the usual artefacts and memorials....More

Beautiful church set just above the village green and next door to the Clergy House. Spent a lovely time inside talking to someone very knowledgeable about the church and its history. Right in the centre of the church you can clearly see the church bells...More
