Swanage railway is great for adults and children alike. The staff are wonderful, the cafe is great, the steam and diesel trains are beautiful; and the stops, including the museum and Corfe Castle, make for a perfect day out!

Wonderful journey from Norton all the way to Swanage, great scenery and lucky to see a few different steam engines at the station! Good value for money to go back to the Golden Age of steam and support a worthy long term business/preservation project

But the scenery is very pretty. We traveled from Norden to Swanage, hopped off at Corfe Castle for a wander then back on again. Would definitely recommend this attraction for a lovely day out.

Yes your Mum can stay on the train for the entire round trip. There is no need to get off at Norden (the Northern Terminus). Regards David
