I have been to lots of museums around the world and never thought i would need an age guide to one. Leaflet said seen by millions but fails to mention prices and age appropriate age guide. Stopped purposefully in Dorchester, so paid parking. Entry cost...More

Spend some time researching ancient Egypt with your kids, then make some models. You will save yourself a whole lot of dosh. This exhibition is a real ripoff (most things are replicas). Despite being in the same building, they actually charge you twice - once...More

Very expensive for 2 Adults and 2 children under 10. So much so only 3 of us went in, not very interesting, and you had to pay and extra for the Mummy exhibition upstairs! Sorry it could have been very educational but far to pricey...More

Not a great exhibition and quite boring for children maybe ancient history is not my thing but hard to tell if the items there were real or copies. They are presented in quite a sterile way. I have seen similar exhibitions in other locations around...More

I would say half an hour to threequarters of an hour to read and look at all the details and exhibits thoroughly.
