Victorian pier opened in 1880 that had two further extensions in 1894 and 1909 to give a maximum length of 300 metres (1000 feet). This is a spectacle and there is an entrance fee. Fishing is available at a reasonable price but best for warmer...More

A must see area, manly for young people. I loved to the pier from the beach. My daughter loved the slide you can take from the pier to the beach.

Well worth visiting if in the area. Best in good weather but still worthwhile in winter. A variety of things to do and plenty of eating options. Even a small zip wire for the adventurous.

A pier that caters for the active and the brave. Indoor and outdoor activities for all. Jogging, cycle and climbing facilities abound. Those of a shorter sort could venture into the sea with surf boards scooters and kite equipment as well.

It's rare to see a pinball machine these days, but the amusements at the start of the pier had 4 of them! Recommended for pinball fans.

bit expensive to just walk along a pier I'm not sure if that is just certain times of the year but still it is what it is, I guess it could be romantic if your in to that sort of thing.

Always nice to visit the pier in the winter. It's not the most entertaining of piers as most of it is taken up with the activity center which isn't really our deal. The cafe always provides a nice cuppa and chance for a sit down...More
