Good beach. Lots of walking. Good facilities. Plenty to do and see. Lovely gardens and plenty of good quality eating choices. Bear in mind, we are talking about Bournemouth not St Tropez!

Even on a grey day the beaches of Bournemouth are a delight. Soft, sweeping, golden sand, and a changing panorama of seaside attractions as you walk along.

Had a bracing walk along the sea front past brightly painted beach huts and miles of sandy beach. We too the zig zag path up to the cliff tops for our return

I love Bournemouth beach. I visit here about 3-4 times a month. It is always immaculately clean and well kept and is a lovely place to sit and watch the sea.

Beautiful clean beach to spend time with friends or just relax. Obviously October is out of season but still enjoyable.

Dogs are not allowed of their lead anywhere near the pier, however if you walk past the westcliff train, there are some areas where you can. Same applies on the other-side of the pier towards Boscombe.

There are several Premium Inns in the area I suggest these would be the best value.

I always park at the hotel, and on average pay between 8-10 per ,24 hr period. I think the parking near beach will cost much more, that's if you can find a space
