The area in front of the beach is being upgraded, new flooring being put in. The kiosks on the pier are closed of course , being winter but you can walk along the pier and watch the brave souls surfing!

Even in January the tractor was out clearing the sand from the pavement. A lovely walk of 3 miles return Bournemouth to Boscombe.

Quiet and pretty in the winter, nice zip line above the water. Plenty of amusements on pier to keep kids busy.

Great beach in the winter for walking along the promenade. Lots of places for coffee or lunch. Lovely sand with hardly a pebble in view.

The reason Bournemouth beach is so good is that it has the right amount of services compared to keeping it natural. The views across Harry's rock and the Isle of White needles makes this a very special place. It's great that there are areas for...More

Breathtaking and amazing - literally the best place in the uk. Sand quality, setting and water quality are brilliant.

I always park at the hotel, and on average pay between 8-10 per ,24 hr period. I think the parking near beach will cost much more, that's if you can find a space
