Beach lovely and clean and nice pier to walk along. Restaurant and bar on pier and plenty of other restaurants and shops along beach front, lots of things to see and do.

Refreshing walks in a morning when you need to blow the cobwebs away, plenty of places to sit quietly and take in the scenery

Came here on a sunny February afternoon. Even though it wasn't summer it was still busy, I imagine when hot it's packed. Plenty of facilities near by, extremely clean. My son put on his wellies and enjoyed splashing in the sea.

It is beautiful. Fantastic views on a sunny few days in Bournemouth. I would have liked to have tried the zip wire from the pier but thought twice about it! (wish I had now I'm home again.)

A fairly typical British pier with child casino games and a zip line. It's nice for a little mooch about but nothing spectacular. Nearby parking is pretty expensive though, £3 for 2 hours!

Lovely clean beach stretching for miles. There's also a road train that will take you along the promenade for a nominal charge.

We took our grandchildren to Bournemouth Beach during the February half-term and we all had a lovely time. Enough of the refreshment and other outlets were open; the pier was open and free of charge and of course the Oceanarium was open and proved a great hit. The beach was clean and plenty of litter bins were available to deposit... More

When it's sunny in Bournemouth, being on the beach is as good as Byron Bay, or Copacabana. We were lucky to have an unseasonably hot day in Feb! The beach is always very clean, easy to access and has lots of facilities. We even saw some people surfing. Just a shame the jet skiers constantly spend their time around the... More
