Beach hut paradise

Great walk out to beach huts and sandy beaches. Kids can play for hours and beach gets sandy near the headland.

Didn't arrive until about 3pm but a hot sunny day. Car park expensive and paying by phone was a nightmare that took ages but got there eventually. Took the train for £2 each down to the beach huts. Had refreshments at the little cafe and paddled in the sea for an hour or so, digging and collecting shells. Caught a... More

For a peaceful walk and sit on the beach this is the place to go. There is a large car park which gives access to walk and the beach. The only downside was the cost of this car park. £4 for 2 hours. There is no other option to park. There is a cafe and visitor center adjacent to the... More

Starlings, skylarks and foxes. Windy with good views and well worth visiting in the evening as well as during visitor centre hours

Took a walk down to hengistbury head with the dogs.. always a nice walk but it has been glorious sunshine here the last few days, stopped at the cafe for a drink too and enjoyed it greatly. Would recommend it for familys and dog walkers alike

I personally love going there. The kids enjoy the walks and the views and there is a park not far away.

A great place to exercise your dog and yourself. Lovely views. Beware the cattle enclosure. There are holes in the wire where your pooch can get in. Lots of cattle with large horns. Beware!

Delightful walk; full of historical and natural history interest. Best early morning before 8 am when the car park is free!
