This is our second visit and again the food and service is excellent. Nice decor great tea and pleasant views. The food is good quality produce well cooked and presented nicely. The service is efficient attentive and unobtrusive. Thank you

A nice way to spend an hour or so, that was about the limit for our young boys but we enjoyed visiting. The castle cafe is a nice small place and the food looked good but we didn't try it.

Not sure about this but the website doesn't mention any restrictions and English Heritage are generally pretty dog friendly. The contact number on the site is 01803 866618
