Babbacombe is a very beautiful part of Torquay. Lots of unique little shops and cafes and of course along Babbacombe downs you have fabulous restaurants and hotels and the Babbacombe Theatre. You simply cannot visit Torquay without spending time in Babbacombe.

There is a lot to see around town so you need time. Areal nice museum that takes you back in time. And of course the wonderful model village.

Access is via a steep path or cliff railway. The beach is quiet, unspoilt and beautiful. The town boasts an array of shops and a theatre. Also0 a model village.

My partner and I came here on a whim whilst visiting Torquay on our hols. It was by chance as I had seen a leaflet for the cliff railway in the pub we ate at, and it was not on my carefully planned holiday itinerary!...More

Loads of attractions in this area. Very good base for accommodation. Lovely area. Plenty of accommodation to choose from locally, both hotel and self catering.

Nice places to go for a walk - beautiful views of the Devon coast. Plenty hotels there - relax with a glass of wine in one of the many sun terraces in the evening- end to a perfect day
