Had a good visit to the museum after Kents Caverns to see all the artifacts. I especially liked the top floor which is arranged by explorer. We also enjoyed the Agatha Christie information before our visit to Greenway.

What a wonderful Museum and you will not be disappointed. The Agatha Christie Gallery is wonderful. Lots of illustrated info regarding her amazing success in selling Billions (Yes) and translated in a huge variety of languages. Agatha's second husband, was a famous archeologist, and hence you will see many facinating exhibits. The Museum sets a lovely and clever atmosphere for... More

A very interesting place and just tucked away from the bustle of the seafront. Lovely cafe with delicious cream tea.

Not the largest of museums but still worth a visit especially with children. Staff were friendly and very good with my son. Gave him pens and worksheets to keep him interested while he explored.

Situated just uphill from Torquay Harbour, the museum has an interesting history. But now it exists on visitor admission, and a small external funding, room hire and special events. There is also an excellent cafe on the ground floor. There are changing exhibits such as film costumes from Gladiator / The Eagle and other historic based films., as well as... More

Very little to see or do. Not good value for money in the slightest and plenty more that are close by.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, we always welcome visitor comments to help improve our museum. It is difficult to reconcile your experience with previous very positive Trip Advisor comments. We have five diverse galleries covering subjects as varied as Ancient Egyptians, the traditional Devon Farmhouse, an Ancestors Gallery with objects from our nationally important Designated collection, an...
