Great in good weather.

Very nice area, some good walks. Of course plenty of trees if that's what you like. Probably gets very busy in good weather.

This area is open to all - cyclists and walkers alike. Can be accessed from Coypool, Plymbridge or Clearbrook with interesting tracks off the main path. Shared route so care needs to be taken with dogs, bikes, children etc. Lovely mixed woodland following the route of the river which has various pools for swimming and paddling.

Very disappointed by all the dog poo in canon woods. We parked in the can woods car park and didn't manage to get much further thzn the den building (which was great)! However I was revolted by the amount of dog poo there was. It would be an awful place to go with toddlers.

We are so lucky to have this gem on our doorstep. I have used it for years as a cycle ride which goes all the way up to Yealmpton. nice easy, suitable for all levels of riders. The addition of the blue and red cycle trails is brilliant, a really good place to pick up mountain bike skills.

A pretty part of the area with an easy walk on an old rail track so suitable for bikes as well. Parking is easy and signposts help direct.

Great place to go dog walking. Acres of mature woods to walk through. There are cycle paths as well. The river runs right through the middle. Lots of pathways to explore. Free car park.

Easy to get to, plenty of wildlife and history. Spotted 4 Kingfishers there in the space of 15 mins. Very tranquil place to chill out unless you want to do the Park Run held every Sat morning.
