Wonwell (pronounced 'Wonall') is a gorgeous sandy beach, which, when the tide is out, is huge! Perfect for paddling with small children. The River Erme runs down the centre of the beach, so it's great for getting sand and salt water off kids and dogs...More

If you want a walk on a beach with no facilities then this is the place. There is some parking on the side of the road but it is essentially a narrow road with 'pull-ins'

Fabulous estuary beach, breathtakingly rugged with interesting history displaying some derelict lime kilns, customs cottages etc from the past. Also interesting film sets in years gone by. Great place to relax and dog walk through it's location. My comment to the previous reviewer is that...More

Down a long steep hill to a dead end with vitually NO safe parking & no turning - even when the road side isn't already collapsing down a cliff into the beach.
