A brilliantly-led, fascinating guided tour of a unique building. Jerry is an enthousiastic, knowledgeable and generous guide. Our visit focussed on the history of the building (history of Plymouth) and an introduction to Judaism. Perfect for children, very engaging.

Jerry gave an excellent talk about the history of Plymouth from many years ago. Showing maps of the old city and how it has changed over the years. Jerry explained all about the Synagogue and the Jewish history attached to the building.

My husband and I are visiting family in Exmouth and would like to day trip to Plymouth. This tour has great reviews and we are very interested. We are from the US and are Jewish. Our available dates are 17 or 18 October. Any chance we could do this tour? We are taking the train from Exmouth to Plymouth. Thanks

Is the congregation dwindling because of age and migration as suggested by a recent reviewer or is it because of intermarriage with non observant Jews and Gentiles and a general lack of commitment to attending synagogue, just as with Christians and church?
