Good quality track

Nice track between Yelverton & Plymouth, mostly uphill from Plymouth! One tunnel that is quite dark, lights advised! Gets very busy & lots of bikes & walkers.

This is also route 27 on the national cycle trails. It is well signposted from Marsh Mills and if you just remember at Plymbridge Woods car park to go up onto the railway bridge, the trail is easy to find. It is tarmac all the way to Clearbrook. It took about 30-40 mins of a gentle ride to get there... More

Walked this trail, starting off from the entrance of the Riverside Caravan park, took the riverbank path and headed north up the valley, there are many new growths and the flora and fauna is just beautiful in the dappled sunlight, the water of the river is lovely and clear, stopped for a while to watch a kingfisher looking for its... Great cycle track. Best started from Plympton end. Slight uphill most of the way but you don't really notice until you're coming back and hardly need to pedal! Gets very busy with kids dogs prams joggers etc on sunny weekends but just keep going and you leave all that behind. Quite shaded and sheltered in places under the trees and... More

This is a great cycle path, it can get busy at weekends but you expect that, people do walk their dogs along it too, so you have to be careful but most people are considerate. It can be quite challenging in parts but that is all part of the getting fit

A fantastic cycle ride that will take you all the way up to Dartmoor with some great views along the way. The trail forms part of the Devon Coast to Coast) route and Sustrans' National Cycle Network route 27. There are cyclists and walkers on the path so care must be taken by both. But watch out for dogs that... More

This trail is a beautiful walk, love taking the dog there, as do many other dog owners. The trail is misnamed here, it's a public path, not merely a cycle trail. Maybe due to this misnaming, some cyclists (a minority) are extremely rude to walkers and joggers. This Sunday one swore at us as we walked our dog on her... More

It's flat and pretty, just right for families. Leads eventually to Tavistock. The viaducts are impressive

I have ridden this path many times. It is safe, easy and chillaxing, unless you really want to do some real off roading!
