Beautiful

Got told about this beautiful boutique by my cousin who lives in Plymouth and she showed me her beautiful earrings from there.
Just had to visit and got myself some absolutely beautiful earrings, and very nearly came away with some other little goodies too.
Quaint boutique with some pure treasures, staff were all wonderfully friendly

Large crammed selection of trinkets, frocks, bags and more.

Apparently this busy shop has been trading from hereabouts for three decades and more. They are active on Facebook and have a website which gives an idea but struggles to keep pace with the extent and high turnover of stock. There is little doubt about the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff. The clothing and bags are very varied, some interesting colours. Much to appeal to giggly girls and women of a certain age. Prices generally a bit less than you’d expect. Less tat in here than you’d expect or get in most of the other Barbican shops. Worth a look.

Gorgeous earrings, gloves, handbags and unique dresses

I love this little shop and make a point of visiting every time I am in Plymouth. They have a wall of handmade earrings that are 2 for £5 or 5 for £10 and I always pick some up. They also have a lovely range of jewellery and accessories; scarves, gloves, handbags etc. They sell unique, brightly coloured and patterned dresses that you can't get elsewhere, I think a lot of them are from Italy. Unfortunately, many of the 'one size' dresses swamp my small frame but I have picked up some really lovely dresses and scarves. It's just a little gem of a shop and well worth a visit. Whilst you're visiting the Barbican, I also recommend Whilstlefish gallery for greetings cards and trying a sample at Roly's fudge shop and Edward's fudge kitchen to decide which you prefer before taking home some fudge as a souvenir.
